The vacation blues have set in after spending 5 days and 4 nights in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico thanks to the amazing marketing team at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. My trip was sponsored by the resort but all opinions shared in this post are my own based on my experience.
About an hour after me and my girls arrived at PVR airport, we were met at the entrance of the airport by the staff of Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit resort and whisked away to the resort which was less than 20 minutes from the airport. (Immigration here is one of the fastest I have ever experienced anywhere in the world.)
The Best Welcome
We were welcomed with cool towels, drinks (hello margaritas!), and a head and neck massage before our checking-in process began, talk about the perfect way to begin a vacay! The cost to stay at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit depends on the number of people you’re traveling with, and the type of accommodation that you seek (from a single room with double beds for 2 to a family residence big enough for up to 7 people.) This experience was definitely nothing like my first visit to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in 2014.
Customer Service
From the moment we arrived till the time we checked out of the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, the service was top-notch. From the attention to detail (every restaurant knew of one of my girl’s allergies and made sure our food reflected this) to the concierge who was available round the clock and staff available all around the resort to assist, we couldn’t have asked for more!
Amenities
The amenities at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit were impressive too! From the private beach, numerous pools including a swim-up bar, a world-class spa with hydrotherapy, multiple pools, kids club, teen club, golf course, bars, fitness center, daily activities, and more you have everything you need for a getaway to remember. They cater to every type of vacation!
Accommodation
We stay in the 3 Bedroom Family Residence Suite which spaned 2 floors and came with 4 private bathrooms, a Jacuzzi, an outdoor shower, a living and dining room an outdoor seating area with an ocean view that can’t only be perfectly described through video. Our suite came with a personal concierge who was a text away. I also got the chance to view a one-bedroom accommodation which was large and beautiful. Did I mention daily stocked refrigerator, snacks, and drinks (the premium stuff like Perrier Sparkling Water.)
Restaurants
At Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, there are a total of 4 Gourmet restaurants – Frida, Lucca, Piaf, and Azul and two Koi Bar Lobby Bar and Aqua Bar with premium liquor and beverages (yes, the good stuff) and you also have the option to order in via room-service which the best! The food always arrived hot and our margaritas were never pre-made, they were made in the room.
