Pack your bags and get ready for an unforgettable glamping experience at Glamp AVL! My family and I recently spent two unforgettable nights HERE, and it was the perfect reset we all needed. Located in Fairview, NC, just a 3.5-hour drive from DT Atlanta and less than 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, Glamp AVL offers a perfect blend of nature and comfort. Y’all know this is not my first glamping experience, Andrew’s Glamping Dome exceeded my expectations. Keep reading for the seven things why.

The dome is situated at an elevation of around 2800 feet, providing breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. (Driving here was easy, we had a sedan and had no issues driving up there) Waking up to watch the sunrise and winding down with the sunset over these majestic mountains is an experience everyone should have. The serene and picturesque scenery is truly the highlight of staying at Glamp AVL.
2. Comprehensive Essentials
This glamping dome offers all the amenities you’d expect from a cabin and more. It’s so spacious!! With heating and air conditioning, WiFi, a carbon monoxide detector, a full bathroom, and a kitchenette equipped with a hot plate, microwave, large fridge, cooking basics, dishes, and silverware, you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. (We brought pre-made meals and also cooked.) There’s also a dining table, a comfortable king bed, and a comfortable pull-out couch, making it perfect for up to four people.
3. Safe & Family-Friendly Environment
Finding a glamping spot that accommodates families can be challenging, but Glamp AVL is kid-friendly and offers a plethora of activities. My kids enjoyed making s’mores in the firepit, playing board games provided by the host, and even hanging out with the friendly neighborhood dog, Bullwinkle. It’s an excellent way for my city kids to connect with nature and they loved it! We felt safe the entire time, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.
4. Convenient Location
Glamp AVL is ideally located just a short 15-minute drive from the Blue Ridge Parkway, one of America’s most scenic drives. This proximity makes it easy to explore the surrounding natural beauty, go on hikes, restaurants, and stores (in case you forget something), and enjoy the many attractions that Asheville has to offer. I even had Amazon deliver a package overnight to me without any issues.
5. Luxurious Hot Tub
One of the standout features of Glamp AVL is the self-cleaning hot tub overlooking the mountain view. It’s the best place to catch the sunset while soaking in the warm water. The hot tub adds a touch of luxury and relaxation to our whole glamping experience.
6. Outdoor Amenities
The dome comes with an ENO hammock, outdoor grilling facilities, and a fire pit perfect for making s’mores and enjoying cozy evenings under the stars. There’s even an EV charger – level 2 charging station to keep your electric car powered while you disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
7. Amazing Host
Our host, Andrew, provided all the essentials and more. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, offering great communication and exceeding the expectations we usually have from an Airbnb host. His attentiveness and hospitality truly enhanced our glamping experience. It’s no reason he is a super-host.
