Hello, I hope you had a good day? Last week for Christmas and my birthday, I did a staycation at The Whitley, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Atlanta Buckhead. It was a fun and different way to spend the holiday and celebrate my birthday.
The Whitley Hotel is a SPG luxury hotel that opened on December 1st, 2017 which replaced the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Buckhead. I was excited to skip the cooking this year and instead relax and let the hotel do all the heavy lifting this year.
The hotel was named after one of Buckhead’s early settlers, John Whitley (The story behind why this city is called Buckhead is an interesting one, you read about it here.)
Just like the Ritz Carlton, service at The Whitley is top notch. From the bell boy, to the reception and concierge, I was beyond impressed with the service. A night’s stay at The Whitley Buckhead will run you about $219 before taxes.
The Whitley is going through a $20 million dollar renovation which would include updates to the lobby area and the rooms. So expect updated modern decor when you stay at the Whitley.

My family and I enjoyed access to the Club Level which is usually reserved to SPG high level member. The club level is amazing! There was constant supply of food and dessert all day long that we ended up skipped ordering food from the restaurant sometimes.
I got the opportunity to tour the Spa with the Spa Manager, Steve.
Steve gave me a run down of the amazing spa which includes a mani/pedi area with a gorgeous view of the city.

There were so many highlights from my 2 night’s stay, from my kids spending time with Santa on Christmas Day, to the amazing Christmas Brunch offered, getting a tour of the hotel, to shooting my holiday fashion looks. I put together a short video from my Insta story clips, enjoy.
