Glamping at Elatse Yi in Ellijay, Georgia

Thanks for stopping by the blog today. I had the pleasure of glamping in Ellijay, GA last weekend courtesy of Glampinghub.com and I am sharing my experience with you today. In summary, glamping is simply luxury camping. If the idea of sleeping in tents sound a bit uncomfortable to you but you still would love to experience being outdoors and close to nature for two or maybe three nights with a bit more comfort, then glamping is for you! I experienced it first hand at Elatse Yi, an hidden gem 1.5 hours away from Atlanta.

 Elatse Yi  offers you the opportunity to unplug from your regular routine and take in the beauty of nature while still enjoying amazing four star amenities. Elatse Yi Cherokee for “Green Earth” promises that they “doesn’t just remove you from the everyday but transforms you in expected ways.” I would have to agree with that statement, for a city gal who cringes at the thought of camping and just being used to city sounds, I enjoyed the peace and quiet of a getaway which I never knew was possible under 2 hours away from my regular life.

 

As an avid traveler, I have always thought that I had to book a flight or travel a couple of hours for the type of experience I had at Elatse Yi thanks to Glampinghub.com That is exactly what Glamping Hub offers, it opens your eyes to treasures around you and the best part, it doesn’t cost a whole lot. Savings and a unique vacation experience, who can say no to that!

Here are some highlights from my experience at the Vintage Airstream with the TreeLoft one of Elatse Yi’s newest addition to their lodging accommodations. We were one of the first people to experience this new lodge. They also have the very popular Geodesic Dome and the Airstream Cottage.

The best part of our glamping experience at Elatse Yi was definitely the service provided by our hosts for the weekend Jeffrey and Fabrizio. Customer service can make or break any type of vacation and the level of service provided by Fabrizio and his wife Jeffrey a couple who have been together for over 32 years far exceeded your standard 4 star resort. I can state this boldly because I have been to a few places  around the world.

Elatse Yi is their vision and you can tell with the attention to details from the outdoor tub which Fabrizio put together himself to the unique touches such as the sink. How romantic is that bathtub?

 

We had an entire section to ourselves, so if privacy is what you are looking for, you get it at Elatse Yi.

The TreeLoft is a unique experience in itself. Built recently with no harm done to the trees surrounding it, it is a perfect spot for breakfast. Did I tell you we ate fresh farm eggs for breakfast, how awesome is that! The view from the top is also amazing.

 

 

 

I enjoyed taking a shower in the outdoor shower. There is a shower and bathroom in the Airstream

I love the functioning stove

 It has a nice size refrigerator for your essentials, our hosts stocked it with some essentials too.

 

 The bed was pretty comfortable

 It even has a Television and DVD player

There is a nice sitting area under the tent and a grill too

 

 You can dine outside on this lovely bench

Away from our private part of the property is the amazing property that has a farm with friendliest dog I have ever met Max, Alpacas, chickens and hens. I had a great time exploring this area.

I got to feed the fish in the pond

 Honeymooners looking for a different experience would definitely love Elatse Yi

 You can sit quietly  on the swing and take in the beauty of nature or play Boules

 

 

 You can also go biking, kayaking close to the property or even  Archery (Fabrizio will offer free beginner lessons too)

 

At night, the property is as beautiful and quiet as during the day

We made a fire and had s’mores

 The entire area is well lit, so you can navigate around Airstream with ease

I would recommend Elatse Yi to anyone who is looking for a different but relaxing experience. It is a great way to unplug from the world. They do provide WiFi in the common areas. Spend a weekend here and you will leave refreshed and ready to take on the world.

Elayse Yi is perfect for families too, the only exception being for kids 12 years and older.
