What to wear for a New Year’s Day Party

How are you? I hope you had a nice and relaxing Christmas break? I did and I am still vacationing at the moment but that doesn’t stop blog posts, lol. Today is my last Fashion Tuesday of the year and I am sharing what I would wear if I didn’t want to wear sequins or feathers which are the go-to New year’s fashion items.This satin ruffled dress with the slit is a show stopper and an amazing way to ring in the New year if you have a party to attend.

I wore this dress to a black tie gala recently and I know it would make a perfect occasion wear for New Year’s day and beyond. My dress is by Asos and is currently marked down to $58 from $83 and available in green white and  multi print which are also all on sale for as low as $42! Such a steal! Did I mention, its available in Tall too! My gold mules are available for $32, they are the perfect  evening shoes.

Fashion Tip

Adding a Faux Stole like I did adds elegance to your look, it took my outfit from great to wow! Invest in a faux stole if you don’t already own one, they are perfect year round.
