Clinique Pop Matte Lipcolour + Primer Review

How are you doing? Thank you for stopping by the blog, today I am sharing my very first makeup review and it happens to be with one of my favorite beauty brands Clinique. I had the opportunity to review some of their skin care products which I shared here a few weeks ago. Today I am talking about Matte Lipstick. Anyone who knows me or if you are a regular on here would know that’s all I ever wear:-) There is just something about matte lipsticks that make me feel like I can do anything once I have it on, lol. Clinique have a line of Lipstick called Clinique Pop Matte Lipcolour + Primer and that is what I am reviewing.

I received these lipstick for free from Clinique for my honest opinion. I had the opportunity to try 8 of the lipsticks from this line that has 15 different shades of color.

Here are the reasons why I love Clinique’s Pop Matte Lipcplour Lipsticks

It has a built in Primer

You don’t have to worry about applying a layer of protectant or primer before applying this matte lipstick. It is a one step process with Clinique Pop Matte Lip colour.

It doesn’t dry your lips

Unlike a lot of Matte lipsticks on the market that dry out lips (usually is my issue with them) I didn’t experience dryness with this product. You get the matte effect without the dryness, how awesome is that!

It comes in a variety of shades

I love that this line has a variety of colors from pinks, to reds and purple shades. There is something for everyone.

It is highly pigmented

My favorite thing about this lipstick line is that it is highly pigmented. As you can tell from how it looks on my skin tone.

My only issue with it, it doesn’t stay as long as some other Matte lipsticks I have used in the past but those dry my lips out, so that’s the toss up here.
