Hi and thanks for stopping by my blog. Summer is here and temperatures are rising. In Atlanta we are already experiencing triple digit temperatures, hey they don’t call it Hotlanta for nothing, lol. I have been gravitating towards shorter lengths and lighter fabrics with the hot weather. Cotton, viscose and tulle fabrics and shorter length dresses, shorts and rompers are some examples. Today’s outfit is no exception. I decided to try something bright and colorful with this 70’s style romper.
Rompers like playsuits are staples in my closet. Dressed up or down they are an easy way to look chic. I fell in love with this romper’s bold colors and its blouson sleeves. It is very comfortable and it will definitely be packed in my bags, on my next vacation. The one rule I follow when I buy rompers is to make sure they are a good length for my body, mid thigh is a good point of reference. I kept my accessories at a minimum by adding this gorgeous turquoise tassel necklace and studs from Misayo house of Jewelry. Check her site out for affordable on-trend and classic jewelry pieces.
