Thank you for stopping by the blog, I am reviewing the Popsugar Must Have box for the month of October today. Popsugar Must Have is a fashion inspired luxury monthly subscription box. There is a theme each month which describes the content of the box. The October box is inspired by the following words, Reinvention, Warm, Cozy, Snuggly, Inspiration and Happy. This is my fourth month reviewing Popsugar’s box and I must say I have been mostly impressed with them. As a woman who loves finding out about new beauty and fashion products, its nice to have someone else do the work for me.
Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen
This was my first time trying a ball point liquid eye pen, I found it easy to use. I love that the Revlon ColorStay Eye Pen glides which helps a makeup novice like myself achieve a perfect line. I loved that this was in blackest black, what I would have gone for if I had to pick a color. It says it last up to 16 hours, I am not sure about that but I noticed it smudged when I ran my finger over it, it would have been a sure bet for me if it were smudge free. It retail for $8.99 and the box came with a $2 coupon good for any Revlon Eye cosmetic product.
Henri Bendel Packable Umbrella
I don’t know about you, but I love packable umbrellas because they fit perfectly into my purses:-) I always tend to loose them though, lol so I was glad this was included in the October Must Have box. This umbrella is by leather goods designer Henri Bendel. I like the stripes on this umbrella. The umbrella retails for $58 and the box also came with a 20% of coupon from Henri Bendel good till December.
This was my first time hearing about this fantastic product (reason #1 why I love Popsugar boxes) and this clearly is one of my favorite items in the box. I applied the Revlon Liquid Eye Pen and used the Mini Make Up Eraser to remove it and it did a fantastic job. All you have to do is apply warm water on the cloth and it gently removes makeup, how cool is that! I loved the feel of the fabric used to make this travel size towel. I use wipes to remove my makeup normally but after using this, no more wipes for me, its that great and so gentle on the skin. I wish there was a coupon for this cloth, lol. Oh and great news, it is good for 1,000 washes. It retails for $12.
Power Your Happy by Lisa Sugar
In this month’s subscription box was a special surprise the Power Your Happy book by PopSugar founder Lisa Sugar. I haven’t read the book but I will read anything from a successful woman who is living the life of her dreams. You can read reviews here to find out what people are saying about it.
I will be the first to admit that I was skeptical about the My Cup of Cocoa chocolate drink, I almost expected it to taste bland, but I was wonderfully surprised. I made mine with warm vanilla soy milk and it tasted amazing! It made a perfect cup of chocolate drink, that’s perfect any time of the day. This chocolate drink retails for $4.99
Also in the box was the Brown Sugar Vanilla Shower Oil and Bubble Bath. The smell of this product is divine! It smells like what I want to smell like all the time. A little product goes along way too. I love that this product is Paraben, Suphate and Phthalate free. I will try shaving with it for this reason. It retails for $28 and this is a full size bottle.
Morning Culture’s “Rise & Shine” Diner mug was included in this month’s box. I am a sucker for white mugs and this one has a perfect message. It will make for the perfect holiday gift for the coffee drinker in your life. It retails for $16 and comes in a cute brown box.
The total content of this box’s value is $152.98 and the monthly box cost $39.95. That’s an amazing deal and when I look at the contents of the box, it’s definitely worth the price.
