Fashion Trend: Stripes

Thanks for stopping by my site. I am ending the week in stripes:-) Stripes have been a constant in the Fashion scene (I bet you own something striped in your closet.) They are officially “back” this Spring. I took photos in this maxi while vacationing in Cancun.

Who/ What am I wearing?

My maxi dress is by my super talented sister, who is a Lawyer but also moonlights as a Fashion designer. She is based in Lagos, Nigeria. This maxi is from her upcoming ready-to-wear collection. I love how she infused Ankara (Dutch wax) with Stripes. I love that this dress is easy and would be flattering on any body type. Contact her here for more details and how to order.

Where would you wear it?

It’s a maxi that can be dressed up or casually styled. I chose sandals for a casual look but you can pair it with strappy or gladiator sandals.

Fashion Tip
