what to wear to work: plaid suit

Hi guys, thanks for stopping by my blog.  I can’t believe we are in November already!! This year is practically over. I have been asked by a reader or two to blog about work wear.  I haven’t worked in a corporate environment for years now but today’s post is a classic example of what I would wear to work. I definitely gravitate toward pieces that can trasition to night looks. Plaid is in, so this  jacket and cropped pant set by Express is perfect for fall. I see suits as investment pieces, this set will definitely stand the test of time. They really had me at cropped pants 🙂 I love the fit, the pant sits right on your natural waist, so heavy lunches will be no problem in this suit LOL.

I paired it with sandals and my sparkly sneakers to show how versatile this set could be. Wear it with pumps to be work appropriate. I definitely had a blast in this set as you can tell from my pictures. I accessorized with a tote and clutch by F &W Style to show its versatility too.
