Workwear inspiration: Rigby and Peller & Yetunde Sarumi

Thank you for stopping by the blog today. I am kicking off Fashion Tuesday with a fun work wear post. I recently attended the one year anniversary of the Atlanta Flagship store of Lingerie Specialist, Rigby & Peller and got a change to pick a complimentary item. I settled on the Olivia Humming bodysuit by Stella McCartney because I knew I wanted an item that I could wear with my wardrobe. I paired it with this gorgeous skirt by Banana Republic and the Lizzy Jacket in pink by Yetunde Sarumi.

Rigby and Peller was founded over 75 years ago in London, England, they sell high quality lingerie and swimwear. There are a few boutique all across the United States, you can find the locations here or shop online via their website. Their mission is to help their clients look their very best. I felt sexy in this bodysuit (you need to check out the bum area of this bodysuit which for obvious reasons I can’t show you) which their helpful staff assisted me in picking out after my bra fitting. Yetunde Sarumi, is a ready to wear line that makes Ankara/Dutch Wax pieces. The Lizzy jacket is perfect year round and is also available in Gray. I will be reworking this jacket for a future post. I wore another of their pieces, the Resa Dress/Coat earlier this year. I love the print of this Ankara jacket and I love that it is beautifully lined.  See more of her pieces here.

Button-Accent Pencil skirts and pants are in for Fall but it is a classic design that can be worn beyond this season. I love this one by Banana Republic (I couldn’t find  it online, check your local stores or a similar one here)

Helpful Bra Tips

Most women have 2 or 3 bras that they constantly wear year round, lengthen the life of your favorite bra by not wearing it two days in a roll. Give it a day’s break so it can contract back to size.  Always hang dry your bras, never put them in the dryer. Tips I picked up from the Rigby & Peller store.
