Hi y’all, I hope spring has been treating you well? Aside from allergies I have been enjoying spring but I am eager for summer to get here! I am previewing summer fashion on today’s post from my recent work trip to the Island of St. Kitts & Nevis. I had the opportunity to collaborate with the Four Seasons in Nevis and I cannot wait to share all about it. Before then, I thought I would share the outfits I wore on my tropical vacay.
I shopped a lot from Zara for this trip because I wanted to share vacation looks that were within budget. First is this 2 piece (sold as separates) knit sweater and skirt. I fell in love with the color and I knew it would be a versatile piece that I can wear for years to come. I wore my mixed print bikini underneath it and took it off when I was by the pool. Style Tip: Layer with a sequin bandeau for a night look.
My second look I am wearing a long mesh dress also by Zara, priced just under $50. I wore a bikini underneath. I love that this dress reminds me of the Caribbeans. I decided not to purchase new swimsuit for this trip cos I have a lot of them. Style Tip: Pairing old swimwear with new coverup gives it a new look.
I also got this printed blouse and pants by Zara, I love the fabric and it is super comfortable. It can be worn day or night on vacay.
I was gifted a few items by UK based brand Boden for my trip. Boden carry a lot of essential pieces for vacay and I love the price point too.I am wearing the Cara knitted shorts (I love that it has an elastic waist band) paired a white linen shirt also by Boden.
My stripped swimsuit is by Boden and I paired it with a orange oversized linen shirt by Zara which I wore as a coverup. I love the burst of color against this stripped one piece.
Another look was this cropped top Love and Lemon paired with orange pants from my Hanifa set. It is currently on sale!
I wore this Crystal-embellished plissé-satin maxi dress by Sem Sem for a sunset Yacht cruise. It’s the perfect look for a cruise.
Lastly, I wore the Ubud one-shoulder feather-trimmed crepe maxi dress, perfect for a special occasion on vacay. It runs true to size.
Accessories
I traveled with some key accessories which I wore the entire time. My white Gucci sandals and Oran slides were my go to shoes. I also packed my Chanel chain slides. I carried two bags, one for day and the other for the night. My under $100 hand held basket bag gifted by Boden and I absolutely love that the multi-print cotton canvas is removable. My black rattan clutch is by Cult Gaia.
I packed two sunglasses my trusted Oversized Square Sunglasses by Gucci and a new purchase an Oversized Hexagonal Sunglasses also by Gucci. Two earrings I wore the entire time are my F Is Fendi Earrings and this Gold-tone, crystal and faux pearl clip earrings.
