Asos Maxi Dress

Hi, yesterday I watched highlights from the Golden Globes and Mama O aka Oprah Winfrey brought the house down! I haven’t been that excited after hearing someone speak in a while & the best part is hearing it so early in the year when my goals & hopes for the year are still so fresh. The biggest takeaway for me was when she said “..what I know for sure is that speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we have.” You can watch the entire speech here. I was in tears  for most of it. I want to do more of that this year & share more of that in everything I do. After all that’s what makes us unique.

I am sharing images of this gorgeous high low maxi dress I wore in Havana last month. My love for maxi dresses is quite unexplainable; finding unique ones like this option from Asos with the lace and fringe trim gets me super excited.

Sizing

It runs true to size. I am wearing a size 6 which is my regular dress size when I shop at Asos.

Accessories

My Henri Bendel Waldorf bag is my go-to black clutch for two reasons; it had a long chain strap which gives me the option to wear it as a crossbody (perfect when I travel or when I am with my kids) & it is made with saffiano leather (wipeable) which means it can take a lot of beating.

I took this photo around Plaza de la Catedral a gorgeous church where I also witnessed a local couple get married. Be sure to stop by this spot when you are in Havana, Cuba.

Style Tip

If you don’t already own a pair, get a pair of leopard print sandals like my Stuart Weitzman’s. They go with everything. Opt for a low plunge bra like this one when wearing a low cut top or dress (I forgot mine at home and I had to improvise, lol)
