Thank you for stopping by the blog today! It is the first day of October which so happens to be Breast Cancer awareness month and a perfect time to share the recap of yesterday’s Yoga Experience with Titi’s Passion. I not only reached my fundraising goal for Painted Pink yesterday, but I got to spend time with a group of amazing women thanks to the wonderful people at Highland Yoga Buckhead. We got a chance to prioritize ourselves by working on our bodies in the perfect environment.
Thank you to everyone of the ladies who showed up and for everyone reading this who contributed towards this event. Thanks to you, I raised over $1,500 (the goal was for $1,000) which will go to Painted Pink a non-profit organization who specializes in Breast Cancer Awareness for millennial women. The funds will be used to create care packages that will be given to breast cancer patients on their first day of Chemotherapy. Something to encourage them and remind them that they are not alone. They are currently partnered with Piedmont Hospital. You can find out more about Painted Pink, the different ways they are impacting their community & how you can help them HERE.
Our amazing Instructor TJ led us through an hour of Yoga where we worked on all our muscles. My favorite thing about Yoga is that anyone can pick it up and it is the perfect add-on to any exercise regime. Stretching is a big part of Yoga and with our busy lives and schedules it is a great way to unwind. I especially love Highland Yoga because their yoga classes are taught by expert who do an amazing job in explaining the different poses. Whether you are an expert Yogi or a beginner, it is the perfect place for you. They offer a variety of classes and have three locations around the city.

Special thanks to Arden’s Garden for partnering with me on this event. They are an Atlanta based fresh juice company with locations all across the city. They carry a variety of juices, smoothies and healthy treats.
Yummy cupcakes were made available by Kelle’s Kakes. Owner Rickelle, was also in attendant at the event.. The ladies enjoyed the dessert. She makes yummy cakes & cupcakes and also offer a cocktail service for your special events.
