Fall 2017 runway fashion trend: Vintage Floral Prints

TGIF, it was a short work week here in the US but I am so ready for the weekend. This week also marked the beginning of New York Fashion Week and although I am not attending this year I will be sharing posts on some of my favorite collections. Speaking of favs, one of the biggest trends from the runaway for Fall 2017 was vintage florals. Since it is Fashion week, here is how I translated the trend. Wearing florals from head to toe can be tricky, so my biggest advice is to mind your proportions and mix the right types of floral pieces like I did here and here.

My floral blazer and sarong skirt are both by Zara. Honestly y’all Zara is probably my favorite high street store. I walk in and I am inspired to mix and match pieces all the time and their price point is quite affordable. My printed blazer which is available for $69.90. My skirt is available for $49.90.

I wore a black bodysuit which I previously wore here underneath the blazer. Bodysuits even the ones you traditionally wear as underwear double as tops too.

My blush sandals are by Topshop and I got it for free when I purchased another pair of shoes recently. They are currently having a buy one get one free sale in store. Mine are sold out online but I found a similar pair here.
