The Classic Little Black Dress (LBD)

How are you doing? Last week I shared a post on how to style a little white dress and while putting that post together, I realized I had never shared a classic black dress post. A black dress is a must have in any woman’s closet and today’s midi lace dress by Maje is a perfect example. If you are struggling with items to add to your closet that will stand the test of time, invest in a classic black dress.

My dress is almost sold out (on sale for $182) and currently only available in a small. I must warn you though if you are a size small and have a larger bust it won’t fit. It was a little tight and I don’t have much up there to begin with, lol. Maje is one of my favorite contemporary lines, see past features HERE.

I wanted to keep things monochrome, hence why I chose to wear black pumps. Mine are Pigalle 100mm by Christian Louboutin. If you are going to splurge on a pair of high-end black pumps, I say buy this pair.

Accessories

My earrings are by Baublebar. I am sure you can tell I LOVE this brand. One of the reasons is simply because they make beautiful statement pieces that aren’t heavy on the ear lopes. Yay for that! My Chanel sunglasses are from over 8 year ago, gifted by my mom. I would have carried my Chanel classic lambskin purse but it is currently in storage:-) Any black clutch would work.
