Mixing Prints for Spring

How are you doing? Thank you for stopping by, I hope you had a nice weekend? I am kicking off the new week with another Spring fashion look. Florals and spring go hand-in-hand after all so I decided to show how you can mix floral prints effortlessly. This look would be perfect for you this Spring and it would can be worn beyond 9-5. My floral blouse is by Topshop while my cropped floral pants are by Ann Taylor. My pants are currently at a steal (under $50), so order yours before the sale is over.

I picked pieces that are closet builders (items that can be worn with other items in your closet.) It is always a great idea to invest in items that you can wear in multiple ways. I am styling my Ann Taylor blouse with a skirt on Friday, so check back for that post.

I have found my Spring bag in the Signet bag by J. Crew. I simple love this chic crossbody bag that has enough room for all my basic items. The color stole my heart and when I saw if for 30% off I knew it was worth it (ended up under $100.) It is made with 100% Italian leather and available in a variety of colors.

I haven’t worn this Christian Louboutin pumps in a long while, they are a nice height too, perfect for work.

Sizing

I went down from my regular size 4 for the floral pants, I find that Ann Taylor tends to run a little big. I am wearing a size 4 (my regular size) in the floral blouse.

Style Tips

Wear the floral blouse with a pair of jeans or leggings for a chic, casual look. Pair the floral pants with a denim shirt for another stylish look. When mixing prints, you can still accessorize with bold colors like I did with my purse, but keep your shoes neutral if you are going to do this.
