Family Dollar Fabulous Event Atlanta

Thank you for stopping by the blog today. Yesterday I had the opportunity to be a part of Family Dollar’s Fabulous Event in my city Atlanta as part of the VIP bloggers selected by the company. I had a few exciting giveaways I shared with my Instagram followers(follow me) sponsored by House of Cheatham who sponsored this year’s Fabulous event. This yearly event takes place in major cities across the country and it is done to shed light on the beauty and hair section of their store. After all looking fabulous doesn’t have to cost you a lot of money!

We live in a world that always equate quality to expensive and that definitely isn’t the case and Family Dollar proved that yesterday after I spent my day with them. I honestly didn’t realize the variety of beauty & hair products that they carry.

I learned about some of House of Cheatham products carried by Family Dollar during the Blogger tour of a local Family Dollar store. They have lines of affordable and high quality products. How can they manage to do this you might ask? They manufacture their own products in-house and so are able to pass on savings to you the consumer. I am excited about two new products I discovered yesterday, Aunt Jackie’s Curl La La & African Pride’s Ultimate Herbal Oil (a multi purpose oil.)

House of Cheatham has something for everyone regardless of whether you are natural or have a relaxer. Originals is their line of relaxed hair products and first of its’ kind ( a relaxer with lots of natural ingredients.)

The tour was especially fun for me because they incorporated  a scavenger hunt as a way for us to learn more about their products.

Later that evening was the start of the intimate event  (not open to the public) which was well organized and very educative. I loved the product displays.

One of the highlights of the night was when special guest for the night Kim Fields answered our(blogger) questions which was shown live on Family Dollar’s Facebook page (You can watch it now). This Q & A section touched on everything from beauty, hair and life as a woman, mom, entertainer, etc. I learned a lot about Kim Fields and she passed on a lot of great nuggets.

Family Dollar & House of Cheatham gave us a night to remember. We returned from our store tour to slippers, drinks, food and massages! How cool is that, see more on my Instagram Stories.

My final word, as a woman who appreciates quality hair and beauty products but especially love saving cos these things add up, I will start using these products as part of my routine. My next hair post will be a review of Curl La La and African Best ultimate herbal oil which I will be trying on my daughter’s hair this weekend, so stay tuned.  I urge you to hit up your local Family Dollar store for amazing treasures. Being fabulous doesn’t always have to cost a fortune.Thank you for reading and enjoy your weekend!
