How to style a pleated maxi skirt

Thank you for stopping by the blog today! I hope you had a great weekend? Today, I am sharing a post featuring items in my closet; I am going to be sharing more of these kinds of posts this year. I wore this pleated maxi skirt here for a Fall Fashion inspired post and the bandeau top here. I am sharing another way how I would wear a pleated maxi skirt; in this case for Summer. I know Summer isn’t for a while but I got to enjoy Summer weather on my recent vacation to the Bahamas, I shared the photos last week. I knew I wanted to wear my Makemechic pleated skirt on my vacation but I didn’t want to pair it with a tank top, so I grabbed my BP bandeau top (now sold out) I picked up a few years ago from Nordstrom. What I love about a bandeau top (mine is thick, has two layers so no peep show in sight) is that it can be worn as an undergarment or as a top if paired with the right item. It worked perfectly for this look because my skirt can be worn high-waisted.

My necklace is by Baublebar, I received it as part of Popsugar’s Must Have box for the month of December. I purchased my Quay Australia sunnies from Asos for under $20. My stud earrings are by Misayo House, they are the perfect everyday earrings.

I loved taking pictures at this spot on the  beach, the weather was amazing and the wind gave my pleated skirt life, lol.

Sizing Questions?
I am wearing the pleated skirt in a Medium, I went up a size because I wanted it longer and I am glad I did. I wanted it free flowing too, it is a little big on the waist line though.
