Spring Fashion: Ann Taylor Dress

Hope you had a great weekend? I had a nice and relaxing one and caught up on one of my favorite shows, House of Cards. I am starting off this week in a Spring appropriate color blush/ light pink. Temperatures have warmed up nicely here in Atlanta over the last few days, praying it stays that way. I can’t wait to share my favorite Spring pieces through out the month of March.

Who/What Am I wearing?

Today I am wearing the Piped Sheath dress by Ann Taylor. I have a thing for sleeveless fitted dresses, I wore one here last month. They are simply put, classics! They have always been around, so you cannot go wrong with buying this dress. Ann Taylor makes incredible pieces that go beyond work wear, so check them out. My classic Trench coat is by Topshop. I love the shade of pink which is perfect for Spring. Today’s theme is all about classic pieces as you can tell.

Where would you wear this?

I would wear this dress to work, church, brunch, day event, etc. Its the perfect day dress, its demure and very versatile. It can be transformed to a night look with a few accessories. Wouldn’t it be perfect for Easter too? 

Accessories

I decided to wear my infinity scarf by Target differently. I simply made a make-shift flower out of it and added an old brooch by Etsy. I wanted a pop of bright colors and I knew it would be perfect. My envelope clutch by Rebecca Minkoff is an old favorite. My now sold out shoes by Manolo Blahnik are my go-to nude pumps. Every female should own a pair of nude shoes in my opinion, they are my favorite neutral shoes. My swing earrings are by Misayo House, check them out for classic and trendy jewelry pieces.

Fashion Tip

Wear your light scarves differently this Spring like I did. Its fun and totally unexpected. Invest in a good quality classic trench coat, they will be perfect every Spring. Pressed for time and can’t get a manicure? Try Impress press-on faux nails like I am wearing. They are inexpensive and they actually lasts. This oval shaped ones lasted me 2 weeks and at $7 or less, you cant beat the savings over getting a manicure!! Thank you for reading, please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
