Clover Canyon: Versatile Pencil Skirt

Hi and thanks for  stopping by my blog. I am starting off the new month of August in a high waist pencil skirt. Pencil skirts are an essential in every woman’s closet. They transition easily from day to night and come in different colors, textures and print. High waist pencil skirts do just that too but with a bonus, they highlight one’s silhouette:-)

I own a few pencil skirts (wore one here recently) but I couldn’t resist this beautiful number by Clover Canyon. I found it on sales (of course under $100) when I dropped by my local Neiman Marcus store. They run similar to contemporary styles, so I am wearing a medium. My favorite part of the skirt aside from the gorgeous print is its super stretchy high quality spandex like fabric and oh did I mention that it is a reversible skirt (cool right?). So get this, you get a build-in support pencil skirt (sucks in the tummy area, amen to that)  that is reversible, score!  I will be wearing this skirt for years that’s for sure. The other side which is black, will be featured on a future post and nope I am not getting paid to pub this skirt.

I paired my Jade storm pencil skirt with this black crop number that I wore previously here. I decided on nude heels, a nice neutral that complimented my look.
