Why not White

Hi and thanks for stopping by my blog. The weather in Atlanta hit the 90s this past weekend, I’ll say it is officially summer here 🙂 I am not looking forward to triple digit temperatures though. My city is called Hotlanta for a reason,lol. Whites and summer time go hand in hand, think white parties for example. I believe most white parties are held in the summer. It’s the perfect summer color and a classic that never goes out of style.

I have been itching to pair this amazing skirt called Blanca from Brides by Nona’s Ready to wear collection for a while now. The high waisted pencil skirt is well constructed and it’s intricate details (I love embellishments! ) on the sheer panel makes it stand out from the pack and great news, its amazingly priced too. 

My outfit was inspired by Jada Pinkett Smith. I saw a photo on her in a white Versace dress and I knew I had to create my own spin on the look:-)

I think every woman needs a corset in her closet. Worn under or over an outfit, it creates an amazing silhouettes and it is sexy 🙂 I decided to pair the skirt with a white corset to create the illusion of a dress. I kept my accessories at a minimal, since the outfit on its own speaks volume.This look would be perfect for an event anytime of the year  if you want to stand out and also great for a bride-to-be (think pre-wedding party or bridal shower). I am still in love with the versatile Rose leather clutch by F& W Style which completed my look.
