The Gratitude Challenge

Good morning and happy hump day! I was tagged by blogger Destiny for the gratitude challenge. Here are the rules I have to follow for the next 7 DAYS.

                                                               RULES 

-So for the next 7 DAYS you have to state 3 things that you are grateful for and also nominate 3 people on the first day you are challenged.

 -You have to take a picture of a simple pleasure you know something that makes you happy,

– Donate 5 dollars (USD) or whatever the equivalence is in your local currency within 7 days of accepting this challenge to a less privileged person or a local charity of your choice. If you decide not to this challenge then you have to donate at least 20 USD to any charity of your choice (obedience is better than sacrifice).

Day 1

I am grateful for Life. 

The fact that I woke up this morning is a blessing on its own and I am so thankful to God for this privilege.

I am grateful for my family.

I am thankful for a loving husband, wonderful kids, great parents,  the best siblings in the world, and the few friends who are family now. I know they are there for me no matter what and that is such a great feeling!

I am grateful for my health.

I am thankful to God for good health. The fact that I can get out of bed with no help and do the simple things is enough to be thankful for.

I get caught up in the ups and downs of life and sometimes I forget the most important things. Sometimes it takes something bad happening for me to take stock and remember what really matters in life. There is so much I want to do and I really do wish it will all just happen already, wouldn’t that  be awesome, LOL. But I have to remember to be thankful to God in all things and learn to wait for HIS time and HIS lead. I just have to do my part working hard, eliminate procrastination (I am so bad with this), living by FAITH not FEAR, being diligent and I feel the  most important, just being thankful. I will end this post with my favorite bible verse of the week.. Psalm 130:5 “I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope.”

The picture above makes me smile always. I look at that picture and it makes me jump for joy in my spirit.
