Three things I am grateful for
I am thankful for Christ
I am thankful that I have Jesus Christ in my life. I am happy for the peace and assurance that comes with being in Christ. Its so easy to lean on your faith when you are going through tough times but its so much better when you embrace it when things are great. It gives me great joy knowing that there is a better place (Heaven) where there will be no pain or sorry but only praises, singing, joy and laughter. I can’t wait for that day! God please help me to remember the ultimate goal in this life, which is to fulfill your purpose for my life and make heaven.(Amen)
I am thankful for freedom/Peace
I think about all the unrest around the world from what is going on in the Middle East to my home country Nigeria (Boko Ham) and it makes me sad that innocent people die daily. I am thankful that I live in a place where I don’t have to live in fear. I take it for granted sometimes. I am taking sometime today to pray for all the people who find themselves in these places and I pray God keeps them safe. (Amen)
I am thankful for food
Yes food! Its amazing how I don’t even think twice about it because it has never been an issue. But for so many around the world it is! Everyday as I drive out the house, I always find one or two people with a sign begging for their next meal here in America and let me not begin to address what is going on in other less privileged countries around the world. Please give whenever you can and never take having for granted.
