I can’t believe we are approaching the end of the month of August already, where did the month go! Before we know it, summer will be officially over 🙁 It has been quite a busy summer for me socially and for my business. Thankful to God for His blessings. Today I am sharing pictures from an event I attended last weekend. A good friend of mine turned thirty and to mark the milestone she hosted a formal dinner. The dress code for the night was black tie so I had to find a long dress suitable for the night. 

 I settled on this red peplum number because of its simple style, beautiful neckline and the color. I always go for comfort when it comes to my outfits and this was no exception. I decided on accessorizing with a brooch and round statement earrings. I also played with a new lipstick/liner color and I haven’t quite decided if its going to be a keeper. I still have a few events lined up for the summer and I can’t wait to share those pictures too. Hope you had a fun weekend?
