Styling the girlfriend jeans

How are you doing? I hope your week is off to a great start? I had the intention of posting this look yesterday but the day got so busy and I apologize for that. I own a few boyfriend jeans but recently looked into getting the girlfriend jeans. The girlfriend jeans is similar to the boyfriend but hugs on the the body curves better while still a little slouchy. I am sharing my take on how to style the girlfriend jeans and I decided to wear  it with the Sarria Top by Style Mafia via Shopbop.

This shirt is absolutely beautiful while the price point is a big up there, the details on the shirt does justify it IMO. It retails for $145. It is the kind of shirt that you can wear 10years from now and still guaranteed to be a conversation starter.

It has a zipper on the back and buttons on the sleeve. I decided on risk it all and go braless for this look lol. This is a first for me for this type of design but I wanted to show the details and beauty of the shirt(side note I forgot to buy a nude color slip which you should have in your closet) I am ordering one as I type this. Thanks to the power of photoshop you can’t see anything that doesn’t need to be seen lol (wink.)

Styling Tip

A statement shirt like this one by Style Mafia works perfectly for a girlfriend jeans. Mine are by Express by the way and currently marked down. I love that it has a distressed look, gives it character IMO (in my opinion)

Size
I am wearing the shirt in a size small, which fits pretty well but I had a bit of a hard time pulling it over my head. I do have a long torse though. I’ll recommend ordering your regular size.
