Staycation at the Hotel at Avalon review: Perfect for Valentine’s Day

It’s February and Valentine’s Day is literally only days away! How are you celebrating? Today’s post is perfect if you are looking for something different to do for V-day or any celebration or just because (cos who doesn’t enjoy a night or two away from home from time to time right?)

Staycations are top on my list of things to do on Valentine’s Day cos let’s face it, everyone is out celebrating which means restaurants, shows, spas, etc are packed so why not opt for something low-key like a staycation and if you happen to live in the Atlanta area, The Hotel at Avalon (link HERE) is a perfect choice. Keep reading to see why.

I had the pleasure of being hosted at The Hotel at Avalon on a staycation recently. Thank you again to The Hotel at Avalon for the comped stay. It was a pleasant experience in every way hence why I highly recommend this hotel for the following reasons.

Perfect Location

The Hotel at Avalon is located at Avalon, a location that is about 20mins from the Buckhead area and surrounded by retail stores, restaurants, spa, movies, special events and more. You can literally walk to a variety of places of interest from the hotel. I love that it is away from Atlanta central, so it is perfect for a relaxing stay. Beautiful environment

From the moment I stepped into the lobby at The Hotel at Avalon (link HERE) up to the 12th floor where I stayed, everything was impeccable.  The ambiance in the room was amazing! We stayed in a King sized bedroom which was super spacious.

I love the view from our room. We ordered room service during our stay. Food can be ordered from the hotel or there is the option to order from the restaurant on ground, South City Kitchen.

On-site Restaurant, Bar and Cafe

I love that aside from room service, there is the option of a restaurant and bar right in the hotel. I had an amazing Mimosa at the bar. Bonus there is a Starbucks right in the hotel too. I loved that I could get my favorite Starbuck drink without leaving the hotel. Like I also mentioned earlier, once you step out of the hotel, there are a lot of restaurant options around.

Great Service

What is a hotel without amazing service? The Hotel at Avalon didn’t disappoint. From checking in to calling for room service, everything went smoothly. The front desk was attentive to all our needs too.

Amenities in the hotel

Apart from the amenities I mentioned above, The Hotel at Avalon also has a rooftop pool and sitting area that would be perfect for  Summer hangouts. The view is amazing! Complimentary coffee, fruits on executive level floors was also a welcoming addition.

Price point

For all you get at The Hotel at Avalon (service and amenities) I absolutely love the price point per night for this 4-star hotel. It is super reasonable, definitely book through the website to take advantage of their special offers.
