I am recovering from a fun night out last night hence the delay in today’s post. I love the paperbag pant trend and I have featured it a few times in the past.

Today’s gorgeous pants are from a collaboration between The 5k Shop (a Nigerian fashion website which specializes in fashion items all under 5 thousand Naira which is equivalent to about $15) and Lamide Akintobi a well established media power personality.

I love everything about this paperbag pants, the wide leg design, fabric choice and belt details makes it perfect for both day time (for work or business) and after hours.

I decided to style the pants with a cashmere offshoulder sweater by Topshop. Since my pants were gray, I wanted a pop of color for my top. This sweater is available for $68 via Topshop.com.

For my accessories, I decided on this drop ball earrings by Baublebar. It is called the Martini Ball Drop earrings and available for $42. I am wearing my classic black patent pumps by Christian Louboutin. The Pigalle is a classic style and my favorite shoes by the designer.

Styling Tip

For a more casual look, style it with a tank top and opt for open toe sandals. Another way I would style this for work, is to pair it with a classic oxford shirt. I also love the Lippy Crop Top with the paperbag pants.
