My Review of Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown

How are you doing? It’s a long weekend here in the United States and I am excited about the extra day to relax and unwind. Speaking of relaxing I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Indigo located in downtown Atlanta last weekend. Staycations are a great idea if you want a quick getaway without the journey of traveling for hours. Hotel Indigo is a boutique hotel with locations around the world. In Atlanta, there are 3 locations. I stayed at the downtown location which is perfect for anyone coming from out of town and also for an Atlanta native who wants to discover the city while staying at a luxurious hotel that doesn’t break the bank.

The checking in process at Hotel Indigo downtown Atlanta was pretty fast. The ambiance of the hotel is simply put, stunning. John C Portman Jr, did an amazing job with the design. I was blown away by the contemporary furniture and design of this hotel. From the glass staircase to the colorful abstract walls and art all around the lobby area.

I was more than pleased when I made it to my hotel room, located on the 9th floor.

It was spacious with a beautiful and amazing view of downtown Atlanta.

I was greeted with yummy treats courtesy of the hotel.

The King sized bed was super comfortable

The room was well lit and it came with a safe, working station, Keurig coffee maker and TV

I loved the bathroom

I am all about great shower heads and this one didn’t disappoint.

Did you notice the hardwood floor in the room, how cool is that!!

The decor in the room is one of the nicest I have seen for their price point and it felt more homey than your typical hotel.

We grabbed lunch at JP Atlanta, a restaurant located in the hotel

Our food was super yummy and the price point was well worth it too.

Hotel Indigo downtown Atlanta is across from Peachtree Center MARTA Station. Another reason I would recommend it for a business trip or pleasure trip for an out of towner. It is also close to a lot of Atlanta attractions such as World of Coke and the Georgia Aquarium.
